I only deal with tellers, I'll wait. I make sure they print the receipt with my account number for proof. To many times mistakes happened, once in my favor for several thousand dollars, but I was young and my dad made me give it back  |
That happened to me once years ago, with Wells Fargo. Deposited my paycheck and noticed a few days later it never hit my account. Bank claimed they never got it, I had to get a new check issued. Huge hassle, and I stopped using Wells Faro. Six months later I get a letter from Wells Fargo saying the check "fell through the ATM machine" and they found it when working on the machine. Go figure.
But these days everything is scanned in.
