I probably wouldn't get involved. You don't know what's going on. Just because the woman is being yelled at or hit doesn't mean she is this big victim. She could be driving him to do that stuff on a daily basis instead of keeping her mouth shut.
But if he is a drunk asshole and she is a defenseless little woman being smacked around, then perhaps you call the police.
