my dog had the same thing in August.
SOrry to say but the first vet made a mistake. This is a common problem in dogs.
sadly my dog died last month from numerous other things.

Thank you for your post and I now have to get out of this thread because the memories of the loss my Good Buddy are overtaking me.
Love them while you have them and learn as much about them as you can.
