The thing is the majority of the people who believe in this crap haven't changed their way of life. They go to their job every day, buy the same things, spend money the same way. So even those people must somewhere in the back of their head know it's total bullshit. I mean if you knew the world will end next month you wouldn't be sitting behind your computer right now, on Facebook or whatever.
