I don't think the US is going to invade. I think they are sending a very strong message, but that's about it.
I think the world has changed. People can easily see outside of their country and they see how the rest of the world lives. Propaganda no longer works, and now with the recent changes in the Middle East people know they can over throw their government.
I wonder how much involvement the US has here. Russia as well.
