By Tweeting relevant Tweets and interacting and engaging in conversation with people is the best way to build followers naturally. Natural followers are the ones that are going to convert for you in the long run. ....these natural followers will be the ones that actually click your links when you post them....or signup for your promotions when you have them!
I recommend watching for trending hashtags (#porn, #livecams, #hugetits) and using those in your Tweets and EVERYONE NEEDS TO HAVE AN APPLICATION TO CONTROL YOUR TWITTER ACCOUNT...THIS MEANS YOU NEED TWEETDECK OR HOOTSUITE ...if you don't use one of these programs then you should just give up...I use Tweetdeck and manage tons of Twitter accounts and Facebook (non porn for FB) with ease.

Thanks for the tips! Although, I must disagree in some regard. Following users can be quite beneficial; especially with an adult twitter account. If you follow 100 users who are all following the same popular porn blog's account - you will likely get 30 or 40 of them to follow you. This means an almost immediate 30 or 40 followers that all like porn. Just a good way to jump start things.
