Laugh all you want! That car is a skiff bodied Model T speedster. It was builit with a Frontenac head and two carbs. Also fitted was a Ruxtel 2-speed rear axle, giving it a top end of around 75 MPH, not bad for a Tin Lizzie. A skiff body is a body made up of a multitude of wooden strips riveted, yes, riveted with long brass rivets to a body frame made of white oak or ash. The rivets are each then hand-peened into place and the wood exterior finished with marine varnish. You can see the rivets at each end of the wood strips. The highly modified engine would have made maybe 50-60 HP, which in a body and chassis that weighed about as much as your left shoe made for a real screamer.
Put that old fucker on a half-mile dirt track against the modern car of your choice and I'll tell you who will win and it won't be the modern car!
LOL!
With those tall skinny tires you could keep that buggy in a drift most of the time and really scoot through the turns! As long as you didn't turn it over it would have been hard to catch.
I think Paul would look good in it and be fucking proud to drive it!
I know I would!
