That sounds awful. I spent the past year giving somebody second chance after second chance after second chance because she was utterly dysfunctional. I got burned too.
It's enough to make a cynic ... cynical - er.
Don't know what to say ... You take risks on people. Period. Nothing wagered, nothing gained. Nothing wagered, nothing lost.
Sucks, though.
