I think it's pretty easy to figure out what happened - she's an attractive women who hit middle age and panicked that her days of being hot were over, the sex with her husband probably sucks by now or is rare - escorting made her feel desirable again, lots of sex and exciting. People who think escorts all have mental issues and hate what they're doing are delusional - lots of them love the lifestyle.
