No...me paying for my medical insurance is a bill I pay every month. Same with my car insurance.
If I pay for my car insurance and it somehow is paying YOU money and we have not had an accident together...then that would be welfare.
As for public education...I've owned my own homes since 1982. My property taxes have paid for a few generations to go to school already.
Do I think public education is vital. YES. Do I think only property owners should have to pay for it? NO.

I swear to God I never thought I'd see the day that people are clamoring to give THEIR money to a bunch of career politicians in Washington D.C. who are currently spending 10 BILLION dollars PER DAY...and borrowing 4 BILLION of it every day.
