You mistaking me for Baddog?

When I first started working at 16 I think it was under 30%. When I moved away and went to school I had to pay for my own school. Gov would not give me any assistance, and I tried to get it. I grew up in the country so our roads were always dodgy. No complaints. But people who pay more than 1/2 of their income to the government are idiots, be it my grandfather or his grandfather. It's not like they are getting free health care and insurance for their contribution.
Though, I can understand back in the old days when most people were patriots and wanted to go to war to fight for "freedom." Back then people were easily duped. That doesn't make them any less of an idiot, but it makes a little more sense. I'm sure it was incredibly easy to propagandize people back then.
