My point is that if you think it's ok for the government to deny a teenager, (in this case), or even an adult, from choosing their own name, (which is what this whole thread is actually about), as a by product of a law created in the name of "protecting" children from parents giving them a name that other kids will tease them about. By using your logic, wouldn't it be right to "protect" children from parents giving them a name that other kids will ATTACK them for?
