No, you blindly support a morally bankrupt, dogmatic political ideology that embraces a ridiculous and selfish philosophy against government intervention at all points no matter what the cost, disregarding the social and political compact among Americans, which it equates with liberty. That is just as bad, if not worse, than blindly supporting a government.
Let me explain something to you: The United States is a republic, Sperbonzo - YOU ARE THE GOVERNMENT. If you feel that YOUR government has failed to achieve worthy goals, or pursued goals that are unworthy, there is a fundamental remedy in YOUR republican, representative government. You can engage with other like-minded people and attempt to transform YOUR bad government into better government. That's your only fucking hope.
Or you can continue to complain on internet message boards about how hell is other people, some of who want different shit than you yet are citizens of the same nation-state.
OR - and this is probably the most ideal option - you can pack your shit up and move to Somalia or Waziristan. Go to one of those libertarian utopias in Africa or the Middle-East where you'll be free from government interference and you can petition a local warlord for your grievances. Not only that but you'll be able to open-carry not only handguns, but rocket launchers and AK-47s and all kinds of other cool shit.

Agreed. Someday these people will have to fill out job applications. “Aquanetta” is not going to get them the clerkship at the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Some people can’t give a thought to their child’s name past words that sound nice to them in the seconds after giving birth.

D’Brickashaw Ferguson wound up with that unfortunate name because his mother had like the character of De Bricassart on the 70’s miniseries "The Thorn Birds". But she could'nt be bothered to research the proper spelling of “De Bricassart,” either by checking the novel "The Thorn Birds" out of the library - a novel that one would assume a fan so dedicated to "The Thorn Birds" to name her firstborn after one it its characters would be interested in reading – either by reading the novel, or researching printed materials ABOUT "The Thorn Birds" television miniseries, or picking up the VHS release of the miniseries that one would assume such a dedicated fan would want to own, and reading the back of the box, or looking at said VHS case in a video store.
She was so passionate about "The Thorn Birds" that she named her child after De Bricassart, but could not do any of these things. She could merely blurt out a half-remembered slur of syllables to some semi-literate nurse in the deep South when asked what do you want to name your baby, as though it would never be brought up again. Now tens of millions of people have to read the word “D’Brickashaw” when his player stats pop up on the bottom of the TV screen every week, and think “what the fuck?” Or more likely some racist sentiment. If she had taken two seconds to get it right then, or at any time thereafter in his first eighteen years of life, or if anyone in her orbit had been a fan of "The Thorn Birds" and corrected her, or if the government would've stepped in and said, "no, that's fucking retarded" - the world could have been spared. But no. Fucking “D’Brickashaw.”
