I don't know much about Canada and any specific issues relating to indigenous peoples. My point was simply that ALL north american natives have the same problems and the same tales of woe. But again, all these people talking about heritage, culture and tradition aren't out trying to hunt and fish and live exclusively off the land. They are working in casinos, selling fireworks and enjoying their free medical, education and so on... OR they are drunk, high or in jail.

Yeah, everyone has to live next door to large cities. Thats the only option for someone who's purported dream is to live on salmon, seal, whale and walrus meat and be free of the white man who's "oppressed" him. Canada is a big place. As is Alaska. As is the US.
