Nowhere in the story says the guy knew anyone was in there, just that the lady saw him. So why was the guy looking for this family to begin with, seems a little fishy.
Also I love how gun nuts use a story like this to justify guns, but ignore all the deaths by guns that happened that day. Wow, one person used a gun for the right reasons, now how many 1,000s died that day by guns for the wrong reasons?
