Society as a whole has gone to shit over the last 10-15 years, even commercials on tv treat the viewers like they are ignorant fools, have you ever actually sat down and watched a couple of tv commercials, they talk to the viewer like they are in third grade, use images that do not even correlate to the products they are hocking and tell the viewer basically, 'if you don't buy our product you are a fool' and the sheeple flock...

The movie Idiocracy wasn't all that wrong with the way it portrayed society in the future... We are slowly being dumbed down over periods of years, education systems are having the level of excellence lowered, year after year after year, pretty soon an 'education' in America will only require the student to be able to spurt product names out of their mouths along with their unique ID number so they can pay for said product.
