That seems kind of stupid. I was in preschool when I was barely four and then in kindergarten by the time I was barely five. By age twelve I was way ahead of normal children and basically completely finished with high school and taking some beginning college courses.
Well, I quit when I was twelve, because fuck it. But I was on a good track there. Preschool is really good for children. Not sure why anyone would want to hold them back, though.
If I hadn't gotten into hustling and bullshit when I was very young I'd probably have seventeen degrees by now and some big fancy on the grid job (due to the solid start)
