Allow me to ask a question. I'm not for gun control. I know it won't work, but I am curious.
Assume that every school in America ends up with armed guards in it patrolling the halls. The number of guards will vary depending on the size of the school. How long will it be before these armed guys either accidentally shoot someone or they stop and search innocent people?
It seems to me that the very same people who want the armed guards will then be bitching about the government taking away their freedoms and conducting illegal searches.
Do you agree that this could become the case? You can simultaneously say you want a smaller government to stay out of your business and life while also telling them they need to put armed guards in the school.
