I find it more of an annoyance than anything. Although...it came in handy one time not long after my back surgery. We were re-doing the basement flooring after a minor flood, and had to move furniture and and home theatre gear around as we worked. One heavy bookcase shelf in particular I wasn't looking forward to lifting so soon after the surgery...moved itself while we were out of the room. Only my wife and I were home at the time - and there was no damn way she moved it herself.
True story.
