Why shouldn't I have firearms?
I've never been arrested, I have no mental health issues, and I have no temper AT ALL (ever). I am also a former US Marine, and I taught combat tactics to Marine Corps officers. I am the ideal firearm owner.
The problem is most people, yourself included, fail to understand what a tactical situation is. You seem to think you are James Bond, and at the first hint of trouble you will be able to handle the situation and be protected. How did that work for Keith Ratliff, who was surrounded by firearms yet was shot in his own house? Unless you have a firearm strapped to your hip and you know trouble is coming, chances are you not be able to handle the situation. Most of the time, you won't even see it coming.
