bullets should be expensive as fuck...the government should make a "buy back" program for unregistered guns and pay good $$$...shit you guys lose 10.000 people every year to this it costs you a fuck load more than terrorism...they should give immunity to anybody willing to hand over an illegal fire arm and give them $$$ for the guns and ammo...
will it stop crime? NO...but guns will not be so easy to come by...they will become more expensive even in the black market...it will reduce gun crime...
more gun tax...heavy gun tax...make them scarce though high prices...the more they can fire rounds/second the higher the tax should be..."insanity tax"...
tax is the key...they can form a black market but the gov will have tons of money to buy it back though the profits made in tax...
criminals will try to abuse by bringing cheap guns in the USA and selling to the government but you can still give immunity to the seller and follow him back to the smuggler and bust the smuggler...
does not stop all guns but it solves a lot...
