So he says they couldn't fake it, but at the same time says he's not totally sure they went to the moon as he wasn't there. If he really believes they couldn't have faked it, then he must also be sure they went to the moon.

But it is also the same logic that would mean you are wrong aswell.
Was you on the moon in 1969? If not, how do you know they didn't land there?
Better still, did you see any of the "movie sets" for yourself?
