the simplest argument why the landing was not fake is this: if it was fake Russians would be leaking this shit already long time ago - remember it was cold war. No doubt they were following every step with their powerful telescopes,satellites etc and nothing would make them happier,at that time, than to expose americans as fraud and fakers.
