Sorry, I think I misunderstood what you were looking for. I didn't mean replace the CMS, I just meant that if you wanted a standalone blog of your own, you could still implement one in addition to your regular CMS.
I think what you were referring to though, and what people were advising you to do was "blog" on other sites like tumblr, sex.com, etc to get linkbacks to your site. They have huge built in audiences already and are decent places to get a bit of traffic from.
If you look at the list of sites that MBposter posts to in their demo video - they are really shitty. I don't understand why anyone would visit those "blogs" as they appear to just be thrown together and don't really seem to be serious about providing quality content for their viewers. You'd basically just be paying someone $40 a month for the hell of it.
I'd wager that you would get more traffic from tumblr and sex.com for free than you would from that service.
It looks like you are going in the right direction in general though. Just keep at it.
