To be fair, solid numbers on this subject are hard to come by and this survey tried harder than many others do to account for the 'respondent fudge factor,' so to speak.

After posting my comment, I noticed that the researchers did acknowledge that:

I'm going to read the paper in its entirety and suspend my overall judgment of it until after I've done so. Poking through it a bit more, it seems like the problem of terming it a "study" might stem as much from the Huffington Post writer's somewhat selective reading of the paper in coming up with her headline (gee, imagine that) as it does with the claims made in the paper itself.
