to me, there was maverick mccain of 2000, & the neocon mccain of 08. I struggle to believe his maverickyness was a ruse for 2 decades; rather seems that running in 08 forced him to recalibrate his compass to get the nom, much like mitt did.
the repubs are not sore losers as much as they are just losers, incapable of seeing how their success bred the excesses that resulted in the economic stagnation of the middle class today.
i wish however that obama would stop being so fucking goddamn republican on matters of national defense & wall street. What the fuck is the point of voting for a democrat if they dont have the balls to put a liberal in charge of the military? women & gays are AOK but not a democrat secdef? Please...
