A couple days ago I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and my internet download speed over Wi-Fi dropped from 50-65 mbps to 1.5 mbps, the upload speed is fine.
I searched all around the net and tried tons of fixes and nothing helped, what I did:

- Updated the drivers for my Wi-Fi card
- Bought a new Wi-Fi adapter in case the problem is with the Wi-Fi card
- Flushed DNS etc.
- Tried disabling firewall, anti-virus program…
- W8 seems to reserve 20% of the internet connection for itself and I tried changing those settings, didn’t help
- Changed Encryption type for the connection to TKIP and that got me up to around 15 mbps

Tried a couple more things without results, when I plugin the cable the speed is fine.
Any ideas?
