Let's just say that after reading the article, I will be a little easier on him when he gets home today. It was kind of a reflection moment. His grades haven't been the best as of late, so I have been probably being kind of a dick.
It just scares me to think that kids that young even contemplate shit like that. A thought like that would have never entered my mind at 12.

You have to be paying attention as a parent. Suicide is not the only thing you have to watch for. Kids have to figure out how to get through drama and relationships and peer pressure, everything. My parents weren't paying attention at all. Sad really.
