I participated in the Paris riots of 1968. Then later back in my own nation I got beaten for protesting. Several years later I donated money, my skills and time for 2 referendums. In fact my entire career was born out of the entire hippie make love not war philosophy. (I wanted to create a new genre of non violent entertainment)

So I would hardly say what they are doing could even be considered "trying."

But I do agree with you on one thing. The babyboomers of the mid 1970s are a fault for everything happening today.

Generation Woodstock was never the problem. The problem is its younger brother... Generation Disco. Essentially "That 70s show is in power" and today's problems are caused by people that were like Hyde, Kelso and Erick Foreman.

Think about it... No one would trust Hyde, Kelso or Erick Foreman to babysit their house cat but here they are in control of entire nations. Personally I would rather see someone like Wavey Gravey in control instead of these disco ducks.
