I would say from a business/industry standpoint as important as his photographic contribution is probably the sheer number of photographers that are in this business thanks to Stephen. I would say 85% of the LA photographers we worked with had either started with Stephen or at some point worked as an assistant for him. I'm sure he shared a lot of valuable knowledge with them. He wasn't one to hold back. He liked helping people.
