This type of work is never done. I use a massive white board with dry erase that lists all of my projects so I can glance up and mentally check off each one everyday as I tend to it. As far as the kids go I find having all devices (pc, laptop, tab, phone and htpc) well networked is very handy...this way I can view, edit and update no matter where I am or what I'm doing. Of coarse nothing ever goes smoothly so knowing when to apply more time to certain tasks can be an ongoing challenge of time management. Finally I highly suggest automating or subbing out the things you don't like doing like content writing, video editing, payroll or maybe social networking...? Just depends on what things you've got going...one thing I've never tried but always wanted to do is work with a partner...maybe someone that is strong on your weak points...twice the products
