When you have a police force that is known for abusive force and covering things up. If someone fights against that force then people are going to end up supporting him even if he is doing bad things.
Honestly if this goes on for very long I wouldn't be surprised if we see another LA riot come out of it. LAPD is by far one of the worst in this country. You don't get that reputation by 1 or 2 bad cops or a mistake here and there.
Added to the fact that they are rolling around playing judge,jury & executioner and have already opened fire on two different trucks. Well it's pretty easy to see why people will start supporting him.
It doesn't make what he's doing right, but just goes to show you how bad and corrupt the LAPD really is. The FBI should have already stepped in and taken this over.. I bet you anything the only reason they haven't is because people would know that even the Federal govt thought the LAPD was corrupt.
