thank you. I don't know about most people but i made my first flight in 1973. Jfk to buffalo to go to school. Cost $27 on american airlines. Showed up 30 minutes before the flight, did standby, had dinner on the flight. No metal detectors, no xrays. Smoking section was in the back.
