As far as I know those pics are real. But. as much as I despise that freak, he was a kid those times and I don't think he had much of a choice. Before he became pope he was head of the inquisition and as such he sent out pretty fucked up orders regarding child abuse within the church. That is something to hold against him. Or his medieval view of the world and his exorcism fetish.
