I live in USA and have lived in 2 other countries and probably visited more than 15 countries.
There is no doubt that there is a bigger % of fat people and people out of shape here compared to any other country I have been to.
I think the main reason is the health care system, you do not really get educated about what is good for you since the burden for health is on yourself
There is other advantages of the US which even put the bad parts.. Same as any other country, if there is something good there is typically also something bad, you can't win all the time
