Nicely done, but that it took him 6 months is just stupid considering all data was already there. The dude would have been better of spending a few weeks learning some xml,php, javascript/jquery, sql.
This is stuff that can be done in a month max if you have some basic scriping knowledge + d3 for some nice graphs and smoke weed daily.
