They are setting it around 5 nano-grams in Colorado to be considered "stoned driving". The problem with that is a daily smoker who hasn't smoked for 14 hours will still have over 5 nano-grams in their system even though they are completely sober. Its comparable to getting pulled over 2 days after stopping drinking and getting a dui. How many drinkers here could likely blow a .08 and be stone cold sober? If you drank 2 days ago and were 100% sober and got a dui would you be pissed off and feel it unjust? Well that is our beef with it for Cannabis being a 5 nano-gram limit.
Anyone that uses Cannabis especially smoking knows it wears off in a few hours after your last inhale. People with medical issues like parkinsons or similar it actually makes them much much more adept at using their muscles and reaction times increase. It actually helps your nervous system to work better. Joe Rogan spars fully stoned and his reaction time isn't slowed at all. Its a bunch of malarkey...
