"I want it" is used to justify damn near every travesty in society today as is. Obesity, alcohol, drugs, debt, tobacco, etc. etc.
Before anyone says "but those don't kill innocent parties"… Yes, yes they do. Alcohol, drugs, and tobacco all kill innocent parties. They are all needless wants.
Humans want. It's what we do. It makes life fun.
