I use apartment loads in my semi auto pistol. They will not penetrate the walls, but will flesh. Neighbors are safe. Buckshot will go through sheetrock pretty well though. Hope you don't make a mistake.

I'm not in an apartment, my neighbors are 100 yards away. after going through a wall buck shot has no energy after 100 yards.
and yes, I've been in situations were someone has tried to kill me. everyone's different. what happened to me was i calmed down even more.
