I take gun ownership very seriously. I take safety training very seriously. You can't take a bullet back, and misfires can happen if you are handling a gun.
I would love to make it so that criminals and mentally ill people never get their hands on guns of any kind. But my challenge is, that laws would take mine away and allow people that have nothing to lose and don't mind breaking the law to keep theirs.

you're starting to understand what I'm talking about. most people are stupid and NOT as responsible as you are.
You can defend yourself with a shotgun...
it's why I say no semi auto..... it's an easy solution and still allowing people to kill bad guys
