didn't say shotguns have too much kick to fire twice in a row, i said 12 gauges, esp magnums, have too much kick to accuracy aim two shots in a row fast. to do it accurately, it's about the same time as a pump round to round
revolvers are semi auto in that you can pull the trigger and get another round. you want to get into mechanics, yes the bullet isn't ejected.. blah blah blah.. still bang bang bang same as any semi auto. for the purpose of what i propose, revolvers are semi auto in function even though the bullet doesn't get ejected. still one pull of the trigger for a new round with nothing else
my dad owns several over under shotguns as well as a couple of double barrel. I've fired both kinds. some have double triggers, some a switch to change barrels. whoop de do
