I think this proves my point. When they wrote this, they were at war which they were fighting as a militia for the most part. As much as we want to think of them as giants, they were not perfect. Woman could not vote. They owned slaves. Folks, they gave us the right to change it so that it could match the conditions of the day versus become a dead document with no meaning.
