And since 3rd parties most likely print the checks, the safe thing is to omit those items
from the data so the 3rd party doesn't print it anywhere.
You may not realize it, but some people can go to the bank with a check that
has "fuckmaster11" and deposit the check; but 3 days later they get
another check back in the mail with a letter stating "Your account has been close".

This. ND used to write the account name on the check in the memo field and it used to cause me to get some second looks from the bank cashiers. Thankfully my account name wasn't something like "I_take_it_up_the_ass" but it was still adult.
Sometimes even the stubs are a problem. Long ago I made six figures with a certain AVS and they always put the name of your first site on the check stubs. Well when I bought my first new car I had to prove income and the way I had to do this was by showing check stubs. I ended up blacking out the name and the account number with black marker so it wouldn't look too suspicious. The name of that site wasn't that bad but I can imagine some people had far worse luck!
