I know that in the west we are as bad as some of the people we despise so much - I will never dispute that.
What I was pointing out is that Saddam was more than capable of using WMDs and attempting genocide.
If there was any reason to suspect he had or was trying to get more weapons then with that history I think it was a good decision to make sure he did not.
He needed taking out anyway just for his previous atrocities - and yes, before you say it there are others on the list that have done as bad or worse that we wont touch because of the west's hypocritical stance - As I said, I know we are pretty fucked up as well.....
