If there are two people in a room, and one is dead from a blunt hit to the head, and the other one is alive, what do YOU assume happened?
Based solely on the information provided by my previous sentence, can you PROVE the live individual killed the dead person?
You can only make the logical assumption and jump to likely conclusions.
Guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt is a verdict that would be much harder to deliver.
This game can go on forever, but logical assumptions and likely conclusions, are still in play.
I'm sure the mother of the live person will NEVER believe their child was the killer, and equally, the mother of the dead person will never believe he wasn't.
