Once the lambs had been slaughtered, and their entrails burned, the high priest whose face had four eyes, no nose, and spoke from two mouths, one with a snake's tongue and the other fanged, collected the wool and dressed the wolves whose mouths dripped blood so to make them as sheep that they might more easily prey upon the herd. He bid them to go, and to bring with them four curses, impotence, impatience, impracticality, and impossibility, and to carry salt instead of seed for the fields of pasture.
