I use Paxum to collect payments from sponsors and pay freelancers. So far I am OK-happy, but here is my little rant about Paxum. I am trying to be productive in my statement and don't mean to bash.
1) As an affiliate I see many sponsors pay me late as they grow. They tell me about limitations to fund their accounts by ACH as they want to avoid wire fees. They quote a daily limit of 1k$. Christ sake, raise that to 5k. What's the problem? ACH for higher amount is totally normal.
2) Freelancers suddenly ask me to not pay them by Paxum anymore. Why? Their paxum card expired. This happens often. Come on guys, send them a new card before the old expires as every bank does and deduct the cost later.
3) Waiting time. It takes 6 or 7 weeks to receive a card by mail This can easily be cut into 1 or 2 weeks worldwide. At least that is what can be expected for 50 bucks.
