Here's the drawback... if you can call it a drawback. My wife, we're both 34, has a master's degree, and is quite a bit smarter than I am. At first I found it a bit intimidating. I've always regarded my own business-savvy as being one of my big contributions to a relationship... and now the tables were turned in a major way. Like... I may not be super attractive, but I can always pull that out of my hat and make money appear out of thin-air. But she can do it too, and she can do it much better than I can... and with much better organization, and with a great PowerPoint presentation and an Excel spread sheet with all sorts of crazy formulas that adjust everything automatically, and extremely polished business plan. The shit she can do is just crazy. I felt... almost like... it was a situation in which I'd be comparatively less valuable. I've always thought my own abilities were fairly impressive on their own... but in comparison, she takes the cake. I had previously never dated anyone with a brain I could definitively say I was impressed by.

While at first I regarded it as being some sort of precarious imbalance in a relationship that could only mean impending doom, now I regard it as being quite an advantage...

I kinda feel like we're some sort of super-power. Like she compensates for all of my shortcomings... and puts a great polish on everything I do...
