I don't really know much about this specific issue in particular but I'm an occasional listener to his podcast and in my opinion his glory days are well behind him. Don't get me wrong, he is a GREAT radio host, but if you want the real Adam listen to some old episodes of Loveline ( http://lovelinetapes.com/) he is absolutely hilarious and always on point. He's lost some of his sharpness in my opinion, mostly because his newer podcasts lose traction when he's bouncing off of too many people who are also on his podcast.
