In 2011 I had a DDOS from few million IP's on a site hosted in mojohost and they handled nicely, setup a few bigabit's line firewall, however that was not meant to be a normal service they provide, I mean to host DDOS'd sites for a regular price, there's some companies who do it and they let you pay all the DDOS traffic so even if your server keeps up, it cost you quite for bandwidth.
